BYLA Programs
BYLA
The Burlington Youth Lacrosse program has been built on the principles of learning and sportsmanship, not competition and trophies.
Classic League
MYL Youth Recreational Town League

In Classic League, there are no standings kept, no league championship or playoffs. We play all players as equally as possible with the goal of teaching the sport and providing a fun experience for all involved. There are no tryouts or cuts. Our goal is to provide a fun, positive, and safe environment for Burlington youth to develop their lacrosse skills. Classic league teams will have one weeknight practice, one Saturday practice, and one game on Sunday.
BOYS: As a member of MYL, we introduce, and teach the game of lacrosse to boys in grades 1-8 through weekly practices and games against neighboring towns in our L1/2, L3/4, L5/6, and L7/8 teams during the spring.
GIRLS: As a member of MYL, we introduce, and teach the game of lacrosse to girls in grades 1-8 through weekly practices and games against neighboring towns in our L1/2, L3/4, L5/6, and L7/8 teams during the spring.
Select League
MYL Competitive League

The BYLA Select teams are geared towards youth lacrosse players in grades 5 – 8 looking for additional opportunities to play lacrosse at an increased level of competition. Each team will have a limited number of players. Tryouts are typically held in June prior to the following season. The Select season runs in conjunction with the Classic “Town” season and consists of at least one additional weeknight practice as well as one Select game per week (usually Friday night or Saturday). There is an additional tuition fee for participating on the Select team.
BOYS: We offer additional competitive teams for our L5/6 and L7/8 Boys under the Burlington Select program.
GIRLS: We offer additional competitive teams for our L5/6 and L7/8 Girls under the Billerica/Burlington Select program.
Learn To Play (LTP)
Introduction to lacrosse

BOYS & GIRLS: We introduce lacrosse to kindergarten aged boys and girls in our LTP program. We provide "loaner" youth sticks and soft lacrosse balls as we learn lacrosse skills through fun games and activities.
Clinics
Offseason Programs
We offer additional clinics in the summer, fall, and winter based on demand and coaching and facility availability. These typically include Summer ReLax, Fall Ball, and a Fall Try Lacrosse Clinic for players new to lacrosse.
